2 Information about The Major The degree program focuses on areas related to Islamic banking and finance. The program will expose students to development within the Islamic financial system and make them aware of its relevancy to conventional financial market, law, social development regulation, politics and economic issues in Islamic financial management including Takaful, fund management and other related issues.

8 Admission requirement
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) with at least a CGPA of 2.00 or obtain a C Grade in two (2) subjects and a pass in SPM Mathematics or its equivalent; OR
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia with a minimum grade of Jayyid and a pass in SPM Mathematics or its equivalent; OR
  • Two (2) passes at GCE ; OR
  • A pass in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of B Grade in five (5) subjects; OR
  • Successful completion of Foundation Studies from an institution approved by the Government of Malaysia with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR
  • Successful completion of the Matriculation program under the Ministry of Education Malaysia with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
9 International Applicants
  • Completed High or Secondary school with a minimum total of 12 years of education; AND
  • Official TOEFL score (minimum 213 (CBT)/ 550 (PBT) or IELTS
